Hi, my name is Mackenzie Casto and I am a fourteen year old artist.  
I live in Haverhill, Massachusetts and  am a freshman at the Haverhill High School Visual Art Academy.
​I hope to be able to help people and animals with my art and to use my art to make a positive difference in the world.
I have been doing some kind of art ever since I was little.  My mom's favorite story of me is that I often fell asleep while coloring and drawing and would get upset if she took my pencil away!
 I am blessed to have excellent art teachers and mentors and currently receive art instruction from Ann Johnson with the Artists' Muse Studio  and the former  Joan Gessner with Gessner Art Studio in Amesbury, Massachusetts.
I am a proud student member of the GHAA- Greater Haverhill Arts Association. 
I am really honored that my mayor, Mr. James Fiorentini send me a letter to say that I am a wonderful ambassador for my city of Haverhill, Massachusetts. 
My favorite thing to paint are animals and my favorite animals are wolves and of course dragons!
I am an avid Harry Potter fan and love the Wizarding world that  J.K. Rowling has created!  My favorite book is "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" and that is also my favorite HP movie.  
I also love the "Warrior" cat book series by Erin Hunter and my favorite cat character is Yellow Fang.
I have two cats named Peanut and Skittles and one giant sometimes annoying Labradoodle dog
named after the reindeer, Donner.  (He was a Christmas delivery)
